Why Accurate Pressure Matters in Suspension Setup

Digital pressure feedback and fine-release control help…

Suspension pressure has a direct effect on support, comfort and control. A dedicated shock pump gives the user a more accurate and repeatable way to set up forks and rear shocks than a general-purpose inflator.

01 · Small pressure changes are noticeable

A few PSI can change sag, mid-stroke support and bottom-out resistance. A clear gauge and controlled bleed valve allow small adjustments without repeatedly disconnecting the hose.

02 · Connection design protects accuracy

A well-designed threaded hose and sealing path reduce pressure loss during connection and removal. This is especially important when the air chamber is small.

03 · Digital or analogue

Digital displays are compact and easy to read precisely, while analogue gauges offer a familiar visual reference. The best choice depends on the target user, price point and service environment.
